Lufthansa Might Sell BmiBaby
Lufthansa CFO commented on Wednesday saying that they would consider selling bmi's low-cost carrier, bmibaby, after it takes over a majority stake of the company early next year. "The UK low-cost carrier's sale is an option that is on the table. It is not part of Lufthansa's core business" said Stephan Gemkow. However Bmi's regional airline could be bought by FlyBE to expand their own business, although nothing yet has been agreed.
