Blackpool International Airport are to introduce a £10 charge for all passenger as part of a new development plan, that will include free parking on the airport site. From January 5 all passengers aged over 16 departing from the airport will be required to pay the £10 Airport Development Fee.
Airport bosses revealed the new strategies that they hope will raise the profile of the airport.
This fee will be used to assist development at the airport, but is likely to be off-set by the introduction of free parking for up to 15 days from the same date.
