Irish regional airline Aer Arann is to launch a new service between the Isle of Man and London City Airport next year. The new service will launch on the 19 January 2009 and will operate three times a day on a 72-seat ATR72-500 aircraft. The first flight from the Isle of Man will depart at 8.35am, arriving at London City at 9.50am, while the return evening flight allows almost ten hours in the capital departing at 7.45pm and arriving back at 9.05pm. The Isle of Man Airport has been working since May to restore the schedule that the self-governed community desperately required.Monday, 24 November 2008
